Bible Prophecy and the Occult part 1
Over the past few
decades there has been a steady stream of media presenting the message of
spirituality - but rejection of God, the Bible, and Christianity. A casual
Internet search indicates the scope of the world’s addiction to the
supernatural. Anyone doubting this need only survey the content and
philosophy that fuels the most popular movies, television programs, video
games, literature, and music.
In this first installment Eric details
the monumental rise of the occult in our day as we begin examining the
Bible's specific warnings about the very phenomenon we’re watching unfold.
Bible Prophecy and the Occult part 2
Did the Apostle Paul’s warning to the Church
at Thessalonica speak directly to a proliferation of the Occult and
supernaturalism in the end-days? If so, are we watching this exact prophetic
event take place in a crescendo welcoming the predicted world system and its
leader called “the man of sin?”
Bible Prophecy and the Occult part 3
In week three
of the series, Eric continues expounding on II Thessalonians 2 and explains
how each and every person alive today have been conditioned concerning
counterfeit, lying signs and wonders. The desensitization has been happening
for several decades and the overall mindset of the world is being readied
for the coming world leader - the Antichrist. Be sure to tune in or download
all of the programs in this important series.
Bible Prophecy and the Occult part 4 - The Kingdom of the Occult
Jill Martin Rische is Eric's guest
this week as we focus again on the world of the occult. Jill is the daughter
of the late Dr. Walter Martin, the 20th centuries greatest Christian
apologist. She, and co-author Kurt Van Gorden, have taken Walter Martin's
notes and teachings and have developed the most complete treatise ever
compiled on the topic in their book, The Kingdom of the Occult.
In the first part of the interview, Eric and Jill warn against reading
occult-oriented literature without first understanding the dangers inherent
in them. They also caution that unless one is called by God to specifically
research on or expose the occult, Christians should endeavor to learn about
the occult from Christian sources instead of from demonically inspired
writers and their works.
Bible Prophecy and the Occult part 5 - The
Kingdom of the Occult
Jill Martin Rische is Eric's guest again this week as we focus again on
the world of the occult from a biblical perspective. Jill is the daughter of
the late Dr. Walter Martin, the 20th centuries greatest Christian apologist.
She, and co-author Kurt Van Gorden, have taken Walter Martin's notes and
teachings and have developed the most complete treatise ever compiled on the
topic in their book, The Kingdom of the Occult.
In part four, Eric and Jill warned against the inherent dangers of reading
occult-oriented literature without first understanding the seductive and
spiritually damaging nature of them. In today's episode, Jill and Eric
discuss the spread and pervasive acceptance of occultism through the media
and literature today. They also connect the Hindu worship tool of yoga with
demonic power and detail the fact that Hindu yogis (teachers) decry the
current western culture's yoga craze, in particular the notion that yoga can
be joined to Christianity, as ignorant and naive.
