You may recall that a serious bout with diverticulitis has basically destroyed a section of Melanie's large intestine causing her much pain and discomfort virtually every waking moment. After a prescribed month-long regimen of antibiotics, surgery was originally scheduled for the end of January to remove the affected section of intestine. However, after another CT Scan, the procedure has been delayed due to the presence of persistent inflammation and infection at the site. After a long search for a proper diagnosis and finally being led to an able gastroenterologist and surgeon, this set back was a tough pill to take for Melanie (and me). She just wants the constant pain to cease and we both just want to get back to living our lives and doing the work of the ministry unabated.

As of now, Melanie is in her second one month regimen of antibiotics and is scheduled to have the affected section of intestine removed using arthroscopic surgery on March 1.

I am asking for every praying Believer who reads this to pray daily about these points.
